To adjust the Canvas Gradebook Passback setting login to FACTS with school admin rights and go to Report Manager. Select Gradebook / Canvas Import and then Select Report.

You will then be taken to the Canvas Import Dashboard

1. 
   Sync Grades: This allows you to manually sync one or more class gradebooks outside of the daily scheduled sync.
2. 
   View Night Logs: View the details of the previous night's sync.
3. 
   Change wich Classes to Sync: You can choose which classes sync/import from Canvas in the automated daily sync.
4. 
   Settings: Overall settings for your school's sync.

Sync Grades

This allows you to manually sync one or more class gradebooks outside of the daily scheduled sync. To manually sync a gradebook, select one or more gradebooks on the left and press the right arrow > to move the gradebook(s) to the right panel. You can multi-select by holding the <CTRL> key down while clicking.

Once you have the gradebooks you want to sync in the right panel, press Sync Grades to begin the sync. Be sure to wait on the next page for the sync to complete.

Change which Classes to Sync

You can choose which classes sync/import from Canvas in the automated daily sync. The classes in the right panel will sync on the nightly sync. Select the classes you want to add/remove from the sync and use the arrows to move them to the other panel.

Settings

These settings apply to your school's sync. Here are a couple of which you should take special note:

• 
  Canvas Sync Term: This must be changed every term after the grades are finalized for the quarter.
• 
  Grade Audit Email Recipients: List the email addresses of those at your school that should receive the audit reports that check the imports for accuracy.

Nightly Sync Jobs

The nightly sync jobs are run in the Maintenance Manager. Please be very careful when making changes to the Maintenance Manager. Most settings here should not be changed without talking with FLOCE.

There are two jobs that affect the Gradebook Sync. These must happen in the order indicated here and should run nightly.
