Applying Template to Canvas Courses

We have a Canvas template that is free for use in your courses. To access the template, log onto your Canvas account and navigate to Commons on the left side of your screen.

Once in Commons, set your filter to FLCOE and you will see the template. 

Select the template and click on import.

Choose which courses you would like to apply the template to and click Import into Course. Do not select Download.

The import process can take a few minutes.

If you do not see the new template design in the course(s) that you imported it into, follow these instructions.

Return to your dashboard.

Select your Course.

Click on Pages, then View All Pages.

Now click on Home Page.

Finally, in Edit, select Use as Home Page.

You should see the imported template layout in your course now.
