Adding New iPads to JAMF and LightSpeed

Adding new iPads to JAMF and LightSpeed. All .csv and .xlsx files for this process can be found on the Technology SharePoint under Technology – Documents>iPads>Move to LightSpeed.

1. Before turning an iPad on, name it in JAMF Automated Device Enrollment for its intended group. The device can then be turned on.
   
   
2. In LightSpeed, add the device username using 02 iPad user upload to LS.xlsx as a template. The upload portal is at LightSpeed>Settings>Data Sync>File Import>Import Users.
   
   
   
3. In LightSpeed, add the device username to the correct LSID group using 03 Add to Groups on LS.xlsx . The portal is at LightSpeed>Settings>Data Sync>File Import>Import Memberships.
   
   
   
4. The device must also be added to the correct user group in JAMF and assigned an owner. There is a template for this process. From this template, you will copy data to two .csv files. The template is called Template for connecting JAMF iPads to LightSpeed Filtering.xlsx.
   
   
   
5. In JAMF, go to Users and look for Import at the top right. Upload users from file 101 Add new user and assign to group.csv. Set Delimiter to semicolon.
   
   
6. In JAMF, go to Devices>Placeholders and look for Import Placeholders in top right. Upload owner info from 102 Assign owner to iPad.csv. Set Delimiter to semicolon.
